Consent to the Processing of Personal Data
Last updated: 8 October 2026
This is the text of the consent you give with a separate checkbox when you sign up for Slicemap. It is required by Part 1 of Article 9 of Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ “On Personal Data”, which applies because the operator lives in Russia. Under the GDPR we do not rely on this consent: see the Privacy Policy.
Who you give consent to and how
Operator: Dmitrii Sergeevich Bugaev, Volgograd, Russia, email [email protected].
By ticking the box “I give consent to the processing of my personal data and have read the privacy policy” when you sign up at app.slicemap.dev, or on the consent screen after your first sign-in with GitHub or Google, you freely, of your own will and in your own interest consent to the processing of your personal data on the terms below.
What data you allow us to process
- name;
- email address;
- password as a hash, if you set one;
- if you sign in with GitHub or Google: your account ID there, username and the link to your profile picture;
- IP address, browser details and the time you sign in;
- server logs: IP address, time of the request, the page address and the response code;
- the name and hash of the access token for your coding agent and when it was last used;
- the days on which your coding agent changed a map (the date only);
- the content you create in Slicemap: workspaces, projects, maps, steps, stories, acceptance criteria, personas, releases and the text in them;
- the date, time and version of the documents you accepted;
- the content of your email, if you write to the operator.
Slicemap collects no other data.
For what purposes
- creating and running your account, signing you in;
- storing and showing the maps you create;
- working together with members of the workspaces you belong to;
- letting your coding agent work with your maps using your token;
- keeping the service secure and running;
- deciding whether the beta continues (counting the days on which agents changed maps);
- answering your emails.
The data is not used for advertising, mailings, profiling or training AI models.
What actions are allowed
Collection, recording, organisation, accumulation, storage, clarification (updating, changing), retrieval, use, transfer (giving access to members of the workspaces you belong to and to the processors named below), blocking, deletion and destruction of personal data.
Processing is automated. The data is stored on servers in Lithuania (European Union), with encrypted backups in the European Union, and is not transferred to Russia. Emails you send to the operator are kept by his email service, which may store them outside the European Union, including in the United States.
The data is not passed to third parties, except three processors acting on the operator’s behalf: the hosting company in the European Union that runs the servers, the email delivery service in the European Union that sends the link confirming your email address, and the email service that hosts the operator’s mailbox. You agree that the operator entrusts them with this processing. The data is not sold.
Duration and withdrawal
The consent is valid from the day you give it until your account is deleted or you withdraw the consent.
You can withdraw it at any time by emailing [email protected] from the address you signed up with. Your account is then deleted and your data destroyed within 30 days: Slicemap cannot work without it. Your email itself is kept up to one year after the answer, as the Privacy Policy says.
What you confirm
- you are 18 or older;
- the data you gave when signing up is about you;
- you have read the Privacy Policy and understand how Slicemap handles data.
How the consent is recorded
The date, time and version of the document you accepted are stored in Slicemap’s database, so that the operator can prove that you gave consent, as Part 3 of Article 9 of Law No. 152-FZ requires.
